[OCJAC] Artist Submission - March 30, 2024 / Old City
You've been accepted! Philadelphia’s local art show for emerging artists: Waffles & Wine Art Show at Old City Jewish Arts Center in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia
Waffles & Wine at OCJAC is a venue located in Philadelphia's renowned arts district. This showcase will host 18 artists who will display their latest collection of work.
Venue Address: 119 N 3rd St, Philadelphia PA 19106 [OCJAC]
The showcase, Waffles & Wine Art Show, is intended to provide space for you to show the community your latest or favorite collection of work.
You will be responsible for showing up at 6 pm to install your art. The event is 7pm-9:30pm.
You will be allotted 4' wide by 10' high of wall space.
We will provide nails! Just bring a hammer and a step stool!
Tables are not permitted at this show! But, small side/end table to display prints are allowed.
Complimentary wine & waffles will be served to all artists and guests throughout the event.
The Mission:
To provide independent artists with an opportunity to thrive and succeed in their creative careers. “Waffles & Wine” is an alternative way for creatives to showcase to their community. All artwork must be available for sale, artists handle all pricing and sales of their art, artists keep 100% of their sales.
We fulfill our mission in two ways
• Online: Our social media marketing team is responsible for promoting featured artists & the event online in the weeks approaching the event. Flyers for the event will be provided to neighboring shops in Old City.
• The showcase: Waffles & Wine showcases are live events that feature hand-selected independent artists in creative genres: visual art, fashion, and photography. Our team works to plan, promote & produce each local showcase. Every showcase event is a snapshot of Philadelphia culture.
